The Best Kid Birthday Party Places in Chicago

Living in Chicago with 2 kids who have Winter Birthdays has given me the opportunity to go deep in researching all the Chicago Kid’s Birthday Party Venues. From bowling to cooking to art to sports, we’ve either hosted or attended a party at so many of the various Kid's Birthday Party Places in Chicago. Check out our reviews below for some of our favorites!

Altitude Trampoline Park - We hosted Gavin’s 6th birthday here and it is a hit with kids 4-8. Party options include pizza, trampoline time, socks for the kids, waters, and party host. Outside food and drink is not allowed but you can bring in cake or cupcakes.

  • Pricing: Starts at $475 for 10 jumpers and a table up to $1,150 for 20 jumpers and a private room. Extra jumpers can be added for a fee.

Fit City Kids - This Chicago kid gym opened a few years ago and quickly took off. We’ve been to countless birthday parties here and have only good things to say! You have the option to rent out the entire facility, bring in your own food and drinks, alcohol is allowed, and you can add on a large bouncy house and additional staff members.

  • Pricing: Starts at $525 for 40 guests and a party room for 2 hours up to $800 for a total buy out for 2 hours for 70 guests. Additional guests may be added for a fee.

My Gym - A cute franchise perfect for younger kiddos, the Chicago location recently moved and the new space is amazing! The staff keeps the party on track and it’s a great dropoff party option for younger kids. They also have great options for all inclusive options including goody bags and cake so it’s truly a one-click and done option!

  • Pricing: Starts at $399 for 10 children and pizza up to $975 for 20 kids and a cake, pizza, and goody bags.

Oui Chef - Such a fun option for kiddos 5 and up. The kids decorate and apron and then prepare the food and eat it before singing happy birthday with a sweet treat!

  • Pricing: Starts at $580 for 10 children each child after is $22/child up to 16 total.

ClimbZone - Ever since Climbzone opened a few years ago, this place has been the IT place for birthday parties. Kids can run wild and rock climb, do bumper cars, play Laser Tag, and do a ropes course. There is also a playspace area for younger kiddos too.

  • Pricing: Starts at $469 for 10 children and pizza with a party room for 2 hours for just climbing up to $1,269 for 20 kids for access to the whole facility for 2 hours. Additional children can be added for a fee.

Ultimate Ninjas - This obstacle course filled gym is perfect for gymnastics and ninja loving kids. Great for ages 4 and up.

  • Pricing: Starts at $359 for 12 children. Adds on available for pizza, drinks, and additional children.

Kid Create Studio - Perfect for the art loving kids! Payton has been to lots of birthday parties and camps here and absolutely loves it! The projects are always so cool!

  • Pricing: Starts at $399 for 12 children for 90 minutes. Adds on available for additional children and time. No option for food or decorations, must be brought in.

Unicoi - Another fun art themed birthday party option! The teachers are amazing and the projects are unique!

  • Pricing: Starts at $399 for 15 children with adds on available for food, facepaint, goody bags, and additional children.

Waveland Bowl - We’ve been to lots of parties here and the kids always have a great time. It’s fairly loud so be aware if you have noise-sensitive kiddos.

  • Pricing: Starts at $140 for 10 children with adds on available for food, additional lanes, and additional children.

Music Box - This cute theater on Southport is available for private rentals and perfect for hosting a movie themed birthday party. Concessions can be provided as well.

American Girl Doll - We hosted Payton’s 4th birthday party here and I don’t know who had more fun, me or her! We reserved the private room and the staff really made the girls feel so special! They have chairs for the dolls and little trinkets for them to take home and crafts to make while they wait for food.

  • Pricing: From $50/person for private room and meal.

Chuck E Cheese - The classic we all loved as kids is still a fave today. The kids love it and it’s a quick and easy party to plan.

  • Pricing: From $25.99/child which includes games, pizza, and can be upgraded to include more time and goody bags

Camp Store - We haven’t been to a party at the camp stores yet but they look like they’re so cute! Maybe next year ha!

D’Agostino’s - The Southport location has a huge basement you can rent out with plenty of space to bring in balloon animals, face paint, or magicians. The kids can build their own pizzas and they also offer a Sundae bar. We hosted Payton’s 5th birthday here and invited her whole class and their families. It was a great time and we got to know a lot of the families!

  • Pricing: From $20/child plus add-ons
