Our Review of the Amazon Influencer Program

We love sharing our favorite finds from Amazon and the Amazon Influencer program has been a great way to do so while earning some extra money! We’ve been on the Amazon Associates program for a few years now but this past year we also joined the Amazon Influencer Program which has some additional perks including the Amazon Storefront and video reviews. The video reviews are newer to the program and we have loved doing them! The best part is, you don’t even have to share them on social media if you don’t want to. They live on Amazon and when a shopper watches the video and then makes a purchase, you make a commission. The rates vary and can be very small on lower cost items, but last month we made over $700 in commissions and didn’t post a single video review that month. The commissions were all from videos we had posted in previous months. We are hoping to keep growing this income by continuing to post more reviews. We just go room to room and find things that are sold on Amazon even if that’s not where you purchased it! We’ve found the sweet spot for videos is 30 seconds to 1 minute unless it’s a super detailed review. Don’t mention pricing on your videos though since price varies so much on Amazon.
