Our Favorite At Home Workouts for Moms

With 5 kids between us, we have both tested out lots of different at home workouts over our pregnancy, postpartum, and mom-life journeys. These are our favorite at home workouts for moms!

  • obé Fitness - I first joined obé back in 2018 a few months after I had Payton. I was ready to work out again but didn’t wasn’t ready to leave her in the gym daycare so I turned to the internet. They have thousands of classes on demand as well as a daily schedule of live classes. The live classes can be fun because the instructors shout out people during the class so you kind of feel like you’re a part of a group when they say “Keep up the good work Kim in Chicago!” I love that you can select length, type, body focus, impact, postpartum/pregnant, etc. to really tailor your workout and keep switching it up. The app is super user friendly and great for working out on the go or in your kitchen (like I do!) Use code STATEOFPLAY for 30 days free!

  • Peloton - Kyle has been a big fan of the Peloton workout app! So many choices and great for all levels on fitness. Great playlists and instructors! You don’t need to own a Peloton bike or treadmill and right now the membership is only $12.99/month.

  • Heather Robertson - My sister is in insane shape and only works out at home so I asked her what she does and she said she only does the Heather Robertson workouts on Youtube! I’m now officially hooked. There are hundreds of workouts to choose from with varying lengths and equipment needed. I love that the workouts are free and she doesn’t really talk through them so you can just listen to the music and follow her lead! Her youtube workouts are all free and you don’t need to download anything which is nice. She also has some amazing programs on her website too!

  • Melissa Wood Health - I stumbled on Melissa Wood years ago on Instagram and she is a literal ray of sunshine. She is so positive and upbeat and her workouts focus on long, lean lines and they will leave you so sore. She has some great pre and post natal workouts and tons of workouts with no equipment required. You can get access to all her workouts for under $10/month. She is super inspirational and has a podcast now too!

We know finding time to workout with littles at home can be hard but these workout programs make it a smidge easier! Even if it’s just 10 minutes, your body and mind will thank you
