Nashville Girls Weekend Itinerary in Your 30s

Nashville is one of my favorite weekend getaways and when I heard that a few of my suburb friends had never been I KNEW we had to make it happen ASAP. There’s just something so fun about tossing on your cowboy boots and dancing the days away with your girlies. I love the style, the food, the music, all of it! I was trying to count and I think this was my fifth or sixth time in Nashville, so yes, I love it. We went with 10 girls and stayed Thursday-Sunday. Here is a breakdown of how we spent the weekend:

Where We Stayed

We stayed in his Airbnb about 7-10 minutes from the Honky Tonks on Broadway. The house was SO NICE and perfect for a large group. Everything was very clean and nice and it was really well-stocked. One thing to note is the neighborhood was definitely a little bit rough and we did not feel comfortable walking around near the house, but we felt totally comfortable hopping in and out of Ubers and inside the house!

Thursday: High Class Honky Tonk and Nice Dinner

After getting settled at our house we got changed and headed to The Twelve Thirty Club, which is Justin Timberlake’s bar on Broadway. This was the perfect place to start since it’s super nice inside and the perfect place to listen to some good music and enjoy a nice cocktail. You can also make reservations for dinner and they have a fun rooftop!

After drinks, we met up with my brother and sister-in-law at 5th and Taylor, one of their favorite restaurants as Nashville natives. This restaurant was so cool inside and the food was DELICIOUS. 10/10 recommend!

Friday: 12 South and Private Chef

12 South is the CUTEST little neighborhood that was revitalized by Dolly herself. It has the cutest shopping and is easy to stroll around with your coffee! We got breakfast at Buttermilk Ranch, which was so good and cute, but had a 2 hour wait. Definitely recommend getting there early!

While we were waiting for our table, we shopped around 12South. It was so fun to window shop at Draper James, Meijuri, Lele, and Stoney Clover. I made a charm necklace at a little jewelry pop-up that I’m obsessed with!

After shopping we headed to Broadway for some dancing and ended the evening at home in our PJs where a private chef made our dinner!

Saturday: The Big Drag Bus and Honky Tonks

We got ready bright and early to get to White Limozeen right at 10am when it opened! This is the CUTEST rooftop and is a must-do with girlfriends. It did get crowded quickly so definitely go early.

After grabbing some fun drinks and dolly themed photo ops, a few of us headed to Rustler Hat Co., which is a custom hat bar. We learned that you definitely need a reservation, but would recommend it if you want a fun hat!

Then, things got wild! We head to the Big Drag Bus! This was SO FUN and hysterical! Our queens were hysterical and kept us entertained the whole time. Definintely recommend if you want something a little different in Nashville!

We spent the rest of the day at Honky Tonks. Some of our favorites were Kid Rock’s, Tootsies from 2-6 on Saturday for open mic auditions, and Jason Aldeans.

Weekend Gifts

I know that it’s a ton of work to go out of town when you have kids so I wanted to give all the girls a little something as a thank you! I gave each gal one of these wet-dry bags full of weekend essentials. They were a hit!
